this is tricky. a plane is a great place to get to know someone. but if things go horribly wrong, it could be a long and awkward journey. know when to stop when the conversation goes sour. buying her something in front of her face is kind of weird...buying her something without her knowing and attaching a personal note with a number is cute.

The plane is always a good place to strike up conversation. Even if the person isn't into you, they are stuck next to you for the duration of the flight, so hopefully you'll win them over by the time you reach your destination!
